DC Motor Control H-Bridge
Basic circuit DC motor control H-Bridge is made using four pieces of an NPN transistor as an electronic switch for the drain current to the DC motor. With the basic H-bridge circuit as simple as in the picture below, we can easily learn more about the working principle of the DC motor control system with H-Bridge. With the method of DC motors control H-Bridge like this we can control a DC motor rotates in two directions. Both input lines can be given in the form of a logic input signal HIGH and LOW is using the switch. Transistors, four transistors on a DC motor control circuit of the H-Bridge above serves as an electronic switch for the drain current to the DC motor bridge. Maximum power DC motor control with the bridge method is determined by the maximum capacity of the transistor flow of electric current.
- Diodes, 4 diodes are mounted in reverse parallel on colector – emitter transistor functions as a clamper diode . Clamper diodes serves to protect the transistor from voltage spikes through the induction of a DC motor.
- LED, two LEDs on the DC motor control circuit of the H-Bridge above serves as an indicator of the direction of the electric current at the same rotary direction indicator controlled DC motor.
- Switch, switch S1 and S2 are the push-button switch that serves to provide a logic input on the DC motor control circuits.
- Resistor 10 Kohm, 10 Kohm resistor serves as a pull-down to ensure the input lines in the state of logic LOW when the input switch is open.
DC motors can be rotated so that appropriate emphasis emphasis switches, each switch must enable two transistors at the same time, this part is done with a 2.2 Kohm resistor which serves to transmit base bias to the second transistor at each pressure switch S1 and S2.
