Servo Motor Tester
The circuit of servo motor tester in the figure below the circuit serves to determine the condition of a servo motor. In general, the servo motor is said to be in good condition when the servo motor can move in two directions according to the specifications of the servo motor. The circuit of servo motor tester is made using the IC NE555, basically a circuit of servo motor tester This is an astable multivibrator circuit which has a pulse output with a duty cycle of 50 Hz can be selected in two (2) options. The second option is to test the servo motor movement clockwise or clockwise opposite direction. In the circuit servo motor tester option is called with the key forward and reverse buttons. The circuit tester servo motor is working properly on the source voltage of + 6 volts DC. Scheme and components to make the circuit servo motor tester can be seen in the following figure.

Basically servo motor tester this is an astable multivibrator which gives a pulse output with a frequency of 50Hz with a period of 20 ms and duty cycle can be set in 2 selection between positive pulse width of 0.9 ms and 2.1 ms via the button forward and reverse buttons. Positive variation of pulse width of 0.9 ms and 2.1 ms is used because the servo motor will move in a clockwise direction at the time of the positive pulse width of more than 1.5 ms and will move counter-clockwise when the pulse width of less than 1.5 ms, servo motor tester can determine the condition of the servo motor with the servo motor rotation to testing in two modes, namely moving clockwise and clockwise moves the opposite direction. Forward button is used to test the servo motor moves clockwise and reverse button to test the servo motor moves counter-clockwise. If the servo motor can rotate in two directions corresponding button is pressed and the corresponding specifications servo motor, the servo motor is said to be in good condition, if one mode test or all modes of the test can not run on a servo motor that was tested using a circuit of servo motor tester hence the servo motor in damaged condition.
